Vedic Math Academy Inc. (VMA) has developed out-of-school math enrichment education programs (see figure below). Over four hundred students have been trained to date.

 

Currently we are offering the following programs:

I. ONLINE WEB BASED MATH ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

Offered using latest browser technology throughi live video/audio based classes on weekends for children 8+ and for adults.

II. MATH ENRICHMENT

Two types of Math Enrichment programs are available:

A. WALK-IN, SELF-PACED PROGRAM

Offered through VMA Centers - currently in Atlanta, GA (**NEW!**)

B. SEMESTER PROGRAM

Offered through VMA Centers - currently in Detroit Metro, and, Greater Chicago Areas.

I. ONLINE WEB BASED MATH ENRICHMENTPROGRAM

II. MATH ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

Math enrichment programs are specilly designed for the North American student and addresses certain important deficiencies in the math curriculum by complementing it. Programs are offered in two formats: (i) Walki-in a& Self-Paced Program; and (ii) Semester Program. Check with VMA Centers for typ of program offered. Highlights of the program are:

Children 8 and above	Supplements school math
Builds good study habits, self-discipline and confidence	Empowers students, expands clarityof mind and intuition
Develops the logical left brain, & the pattern-identifying right brain	Foundational skills for SAT/ACT and higher-level mathematics.

These highly structured programs are designed to challenge students to reach their full potential. Programs are offered through VMA Centers.

• Certified teachers specially trained by VMA conduct classes.
• Specially prepared workbooks and lesson plans are used.
• Weekly homework and periodic tests document the student's progress.
• Certificate of completion for successful students.

This progressive instruction ranges from basic arithmentic to algebra and geometry.

III. VEDIC MATH TRAINING WORKSHOPS

Excellent for those students pressed for time, the workshops are conducted on an on demand basis and are characterized by:

• A 20 hour intensive program focusing on introductory Vedic Math.
• Certified teachers trained by VMA conduct the Workshop.
• Specially prepared professional workshop materials are used.
• Certificate of completion for all succesful candidates.

The methods are focused on:

• Teaching shorter, faster and easier techniques.
• Maximizing speed and accuracy.
• Providing tips to avoid common mistakes.
• Enabling lightning speed error checking

2008: SRI BALAJI TEMPLE, AURORA IL, SUMMER WORKSHOP

 

During Summer 2008, a five day, 20 hour Vedic Math camp was conducted at Sri Balaji Temple, Aurora, IL. This was the first time structured Vedic Math instruction was brought into Greater Chicago Area. Thirty registrants for the Workshop ranged from age 7 to age 66. There were four adults, eight teenagers and remaining children below twelve. The Workshop was complemented by a Summer Temple Camp format for the younger children and teens. in the afternoon session.
